On World Communion Sunday, we join together in spirit with brothers and sisters around the globe to celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. We remember our unity in Christ and anticipate the day when we shall feast together in the presence of God.
How fitting that our key Scripture verse also leads us to look beyond ourselves! In Philippians 2:4, Paul writes: “Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.” On Sunday, we will hear from some special guest speakers who will suggest how we at JUPC can do that as we “Pray, Give, and Serve”!
Our Scripture passage will be Philippians 2:1-11. We will also celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Please join us in the sanctuary or online. Our service will be live-streamed at 11:00 a.m. on the Jefferson United Presbyterian Church YouTube Channel and available any time afterward.
