Sunday isn’t just Mother’s Day. It’s Ascension Sunday, as well!
For forty days, the Resurrected Jesus had been appearing to his disciples, teaching them about the Kingdom of God. Then, with a promise to send the Holy Spirit, Jesus ascended before their very eyes to take his place as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Join us on Sunday as we celebrate the risen and ascended Jesus! Our Scripture passage will be Acts 1:1-14. We will also welcome children for Children’s Worship.
